URGENT NEWS (not really, but yes)

Bad Company 2 has a swarm of players again probably due to the reason that vietnam has been out for sometime and people are getting tired of it. Expect most games to be halfway full or completely filled.

New game called Breach was released yesterday on the PC for 19.99 (or Steam for 11.99 for the first week) and Xbox live arcade for 1200 Microsoft points. I highly recommend getting this game because it is quite fun and enjoyable. It it a FPS multiplayer based game with a destructible environment and it pretty much takes all the good things about recent Call of Duty games and adds solid gameplay. If your unsure, download the trial version in the Xbox Live marketplace and have all doubts erased.

That is all.

They call me Demoman

So i'm doing the update this week because of stuff happening.

Two demos came up recently on to the Xbox Live marketplace: Crysis 2 Multiplayer Beta and Bulletstorm Demo.
Crysis 2 plays a lot like recent Call of Duty games and is quite similar them in the fact that they have perks and customizable classes. In fact, I find that this demo has no originality whatsoever due to the fact that if they haven't ripped off something from Call of Duty, then they got the idea from Bad Company 2 or Halo: Reach. Another thing is that it is INSANELY hard to get kills with a gun.
-Pros: Hmm? Did you say something?
-Cons: The melee attack is a one hit kill, unless you have your armor activated, then its two which can be done in rapid succcession. Like I said before, it's extremely hard to get kills with a gun. The person your shooting at has to be standing still, barely moving, or running away from you in a straight line for a good 5 secs. He can't be running at you in a straight line because before the bullets decide to deal any damage to that player, he would have already sprinted up to you and punched you in the face which is surprisingly instant death.
-Verdict: If you don't like Call of Duty, don't play it. If you do like Call of Duty, then you'll probably play this game for like an hour and be done with it.

Bulletstorm demo puts into a mode called "Echoes" which is like a time trial of going through an area and seeing how many skill points you can get before reaching the finish. No campaign, no multiplayer, just killing things. I wish it did that successfully, but unfortunately, I found the experience to be more on the mediocre side. I found that there wasn't a whole lot of variety on how to kill things like there was supposed to be. Then again this just a demo and not a representation of the final product.
-Pros: The demo is fun at first. Just the first playthrough of it though. The fact that you can overload your rifle from full auto to a single shot cannon of disintegration is pretty nifty.
-Cons: It gets boring pretty fast. Not as much variety as I was told to expect. Generic FPS.
-Verdict: Its meh. It doesn't matter if you do or don't play it.

Now that I have wasted your time with pointless talk about things that are free, let's get to the actual update.

There has been a small influx of people requesting to join the clan. This would be a good thing if we actually did anything clan-like. There is a lack of clan events not because of me or SC Penumbra, but because there is a major lack of participation from other so-called clan members.

Dead Space 2 was released yesterday. If your looking for a bloody, horror, third person shooter game, this is highly recommended.

Bad Company 2 multiplayer is practically empty all of a sudden. This means that if we went into a game with a full squad, we would most likely overpower the enemy team and win. Most likely, not guaranteed.

More clan events in the works and on the way.

Demoma- I mean phoenix signing out.
