1. Gears 2 is having 12 days of Gearsmas ATM.

2 Flaming Bloodmounts (2 Bloodmounts with Flamethrowers every wave) - Dec 23 - 13 x XP multiplier.

3 Extra Clips (3 extra clips of ammo in every weapon) - Dec 24 - 14 x XP multiplier.

4 Frag grenades (Frag grenade pickups have 4) - Dec 25 - 15 x XP multiplier.

5 Torque Bow Tags (Many rifle creatures carry Torque Bows in Horde) - Dec 26 - 16 x XP multiplier.

6 Melee Monsters (All melee creatures Horde) - Dec 27 - 17 x XP multiplier.

7 Sires a storming - Dec 28 - 18 x XP multiplier.

2. Until tomorrow Team Fortress 2 item drop rate has tripled on Steam. If you have it, you should probably play it.


3. Christmas has temporarily cut connection to EA's servers due to the amount of people getting Bad company 2. Stats can't be updated for probably another week.


4. Still testing Vietnam. It is good so far but you seem to die easier then in BC2 (which I didn't think was possible). Attackers have a stupid amount of advantage over defense it seems. Oh and vehicles have radios again, like BC1. Full review in probably a month.

5. Survival Saturday is New years eve this year. All night, a mix between Bad company 2 and Halo Reach Firefight. Be there for the last clan event this year.

6. Gears 3 will have epic unlocks apparently, and everyone will get them. You'll only understand them if you've played other Epic Games' Games before (I.e. UT3, Shadow Complex Etc.). Smells like Easter Eggs.

7. Bullet Storm "Epic Edition" will come with a Gears 3 beta (because Gears 2 didn't have one obviously). So you'll be spending $70 to essetially get Gears 3 beta since, hint: the game will probably suck ass, but if you are a hardcore Gears fan you might want to check it out. Unfortunatly I won't because I could not care less about Gears of War matchmaking.
